There is nothing more profound than the strength and beauty of two hearts that love each other.

I am extremely thankful for the beautiful couples who invite me to take care of the celebration of the love they hold in their hearts. They invest their trust in me to give them the best celebration possible. I do not take this responsibility lightly and am so grateful that they decide that I am the person to help them create wonderful memories.

Annual Bridal Industry Awards!

On Monday the 27th of November 2017, the Australian Bridal Industry Academy hosted its 21st New South Wales Annual Bridal Industry Awards as a means of determining the best wedding suppliers in New South Wales. A total of 36 categories were acknowledged for its contribution to the wedding industry.

Over 7,200 New South Wales couples (representing 1 in every 5 New South Wales marriages) selected 552 nominees, 287 finalists and 36 winners. Representing location venues, camera people, beauty stylists, fashion designers, musicians & entertainers, transport, jewellery, set designers & stylists, food and catering, hire and special services for what was a spectacular showcase of New South Wales' Best V.O.W.S. (Vendors Of Wedding Services).

The Chairman of ABIA, Mr John O' Meara congratulated DJ:Plus! Entertainment as a Finalist of the Australian Bridal Industry Academy Award. Mr O'Meara went onto say that it was businesses like DJ:Plus! Entertainment which enhanced and enriched the industry, through their tireless pursuit of excellence in Designing the Dream for each and every one of their unique wedding couples.

On behalf of all the New South Wales couples who tied the knot over 2016/2017, we say thank you for the passion, pride and professionalism which you bring to the wedding industry and the assistance, advice and support which you bestow upon the future brides and grooms of New South Wales.

Vow Renewal Ceremony & Reception | 25 November 2017 | Natalie & Paul | Briars Country Lodge, Bowral, Southern Highlands

Natalie and Paul are a gorgeous couple who met in the first half of 2004 whilst Paul was mid way through a two week trip to Australia from the UK. They spend the week together in which time, Paul managed to convince Natalie that she should follow him to the UK. A week later Natalie arrived in Mancester, three months later they were engaged and seven months afterwards, on 5 February 2005, they were married.

By the end of 2005 they welcomed their first born, Kiera and in 2007 their second daughter, Abbey. Four years later, Jaiden was born and in the lead up to the vow renewal, Natalie and Paul announced the wonderful news that there would be a fourth child joining the family in 2018!!

Unfortunately, when they married almost 13 years ago, Natalie did not get the dream wedding she had hoped for and had always wanted a chance to do it better, renew their vows and have a chance for the occasion to be more special. They chose to have the vow renewal and celebration at Briars Country Lodge & Historic Inn located in Bowral in the picturesque Southern Highlands. Whilst there had been a chance of rain forecast early in the week, the weather was absolutely stunning and the day was filled with the warmth and love of their family and friends!!

As Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" filled the air, the "wedding party", consisting of Natalie and Paul's children, nieces and nephews made their way down the aisle. As Natalie commenced her walk towards Paul, in her amazing dress, you only had to look at the huge smile on her face to know how she was feeling! It was a short, meaningful ceremony where Natalie and Paul re-committed themselves to a together forever with the following promises;

Today, I renew the promises I made to you 12 years ago,
I promise to continue to be loving and faithful
I promise to live alongside you and to love you, whatever the future holds, completely and forever
I promise loyalty and friendship, through happy times and sad times
I hope our future will be as happy as our past has been, and I look forward to sharing it with you.
I will give you the best of myself
I will continue to love you for as long as I shall live
It is with these promises that I recommit my love for you.

with which they then celebrated the renewal of their vows with a kiss!!

The ceremony was followed by congratulations, mingling and photographs on the Briars' grounds. A little later the celebrations commenced with delicious canapes, beautiful speeches, messages from those unable to attend, fun games and dancing. It was hard keeping this gorgeous couple off the dance floor - they well and truly totally dominated it!!

There is not much I can say about Natalie and Paul that those that have met them don't know - they light each other up and everyone around them. They are gentle, genuine, sweet, funny, totally in love and completely perfect for each other. Natalie and Paul's intimate vow renewal celebration reflected who they are in everything they did.. relaxed, fun and loving! It was an absolute pleasure and honour to be able to spend time with them and their family and friends not only as their Southern Highlands Wedding MC & DJ, but also as the person who conducted their Vow Renewal Ceremony (a first for me!)! Thank you for allowing me to play a part in this beautiful celebration. May, love, laughter and music fill your lives forever!!!
