Charity Event | 5 September 2014 | Girls Night In | Dee Why RSL
According to the Cancer Council, the Northern Beaches Girls Night In is the biggest such event in Australia! DJ:Plus! Entertainment has been supporting this event every year since 2011and was very proud to support it again in 2014. It was a wonderful night full of varied entertainment, having a heap of fun and raising money for the Cancer Council, and in particular Women's Cancers.
The entertainment this year included Amber Lawrence, who has supported the event since 2012, Spirit Taekwondo – Brookvale, Northern Beaches Chorus and the showgirls from Xtend Barre. In addition there was an online raffle, games, pink envelopes and other fund raising activities.
Lovely ladies from the Northern Beaches, THANK YOU for supporting this event, thank you for always getting into the spirit of the theme and looking so fabulous, thank you for having so much FUN!!, but most of all, thank you for your generosity. Not sure how much was raised as yet, but will endeavour to update this post once I know.
Finally, a HUGE thank you to Kirsty and ALL her team of volunteers who work tirelessly to make this happen each year. The logistics of putting an event such as this on should not be underestimated and these ladies unselfishly give up their time to make it happen for the benefit of others.
