Accordingly, it gives me great pleasure to spotlight this modern and stylistic floral designer & stylist; Chanele Rose Flowers & Styling.

Business Name: Chanele Rose Flowers & Styling

Contact: Lina Bteddini

Where are you located, and what geographical area(s) do you service?
Based in Greystanes, but service the entire Sydney Metropolitan Area.

How long have you been in business?
Chanele Rose began approx 3.5yrs ago.

What drew you to Floral Design and Event Styling as a profession?
It all started with a few short courses in floristry and I was hooked. I tried working in a florist shop but found that was not for me as I could not cope with being tied down in the one place! Started working with a few professionals in the wedding industry and loved it - I have not looked back since!

Styling has only been a new addition to the business as my photo shoots which I have styled have taken off in an incredible way - we are now being asked for styling tips by many brides who find themselves needing some tips in this area. We love Styling events just as much as we love floristry and I feel the two go hand in hand really!

What do you feel sets you apart as a Floral Designer & Event Stylist?
Pouring my heart and soul into each little detail that goes into styling each event!

Chanele Rose Flowers are well known to intuitively understand exactly what people really want and delivering on the details. The team’s key values are integrity, reliability, pride & passion and are an inspiring bunch backed by a close knit family. Passionate about ensuring that the wedding or special event is all the client has dreamed and more.

What do you love most about your job?
I do love that every wedding is unique, love to meet new couples and working with them closely too!

If you had to describe yourself in one word, what would it be?
Looney and a bit of a martyr!

For 15 years I worked as a Special Education Teacher, but always knew my dreams and passions were with Floristry. So I undertook re-training for over 2 years, with hopes of owning my own business. That dream became a reality in early 2009 when I created " Erica Blossoms". Specialising in Wedding, Funeral and Corporate work. I have built a business around my passions.

What do you feel sets you apart as a Floral Designer?
I personally handpick all the blooms for each wedding, making sure the style of flowers reflects each individual bride and their special day! Wedding Professionals Unveiled: Lacey Lou Designs

The invitation is really the moment when the scene starts to be set for your wedding. It is the first glimpse your guests get into the feel and vision of your event. Therefore, it is vital that you make sure that you use a designer that is passionate and cares about your wedding. With that, I introduce you to my next featured wedding professional Stacey Crowhurst from Lacey Lou Designs!

I first met Stacey on a bridal forum a few years ago when Stacey was in the process of planning her own wedding. I got to know Stacey very well and was very privileged to be able to share in most details of her exciting wedding journey. It gave me a great insight into the sort of person that Stacey is and I can assure that she will really look after you and make your stationery one of the easiest part of planning your wedding.

Brief Description of the business: Wedding/Engagement stationery for any sized wedding/budget.

Name: Stacey Crowhurst

Website: www.laceylou.com.au

Blog: www.laceylou.com.au/Our-Blog

Where are you located, and what geographical area(s) do you service?
Located in Melbourne but servicing all areas of Australia.

How long have you been in business?
12 months.

What drew you to Invitation Design as a profession?
I've always had a passion for paper arts. Event planning is a love of mine and when it came to designing invitations for these events, I spent hours researching the best products at the cheapest prices and spent hours mixing different materials together. It was actually my husband that told me to give it a go and see if others where interested in what I created after designing our wedding invitations 3 times. I found there was a lot of high end products and extremely cheap, 1 card invitations, but there was no in between.

What do you feel sets you apart as a Invitation Supplier?
Communication. The internet is just way too easy to hide behind, there are too many suppliers out there not willing to respond to potential clients ASAP. It was something I felt very strongly about, I want my clients to be able to contact me at any time of the day, knowing it will be only a few hours until they receive a reply. We keep in constant contact during orders, so clients feel at ease and get more and more excited every email.

What do you love most about your job?
The lovely words I hear back from brides about how their order has made their wedding finally feel real. Makes my day!

If you had to describe yourself in one word, what would it be?
Eager

Wedding Professionals Unveiled: Flourish Bomboniere

Many couples wish something uniquely different for their wedding which will differentiate their celebration from others their guests have attended. When Liz Young was planning her own wedding she wanted her guests to have a keepsake with a difference, something that they could keep for a long time and remember the wonderful time they had celebrating her marriage. From this Flourish Bomboniere was born. Liz provides a natural and colourful way to celebrate your special day. With beautiful plant creations inspired by the environment, these unique bomboniere give a personal unique touch ensuring your wedding will long be remembered.

I am pleased to introduce to you my latest featured Wedding Professional, Liz Young from Flourish Bomboniere. Please make her feel welcome as she takes time to recount how it all came about and explains the service provided.

Name: Flourish Bomboniere

Website: www.flourishbomboniere.com.au

Where are you located, and what geographical area(s) do you service?
Our Office/ Showroom is located in Castle Hill, NSW. We service Sydney and surrounds, Central Coast, South Coast, Blue Mountains, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.

How long have you been in business?
2.5 years

What drew you to Bomboniere as a profession?
Flourish Bomboniere was inspired by beauty and the environment. The idea came from the preparation for our own wedding and the desire to give guests something unique and special. When searching for guest gifts we found that they were predominantly chocolates or items that guests would more than likely throw away. When you are spending so much money on the occasion, you want something they will remember, not something that will be forgotten and gather dust. This way guests could plant the creations in their garden or in a pot – so regardless of whether they are living in a house or a unit, their gift can be planted and enjoyed for years to come.

We had such an astonishing response from our guests that we decided to go into business to make available this opportunity for everyone else. My husband is a professional Horticulturalist and hand picks all the plants plus can offer advice and recommendations on plants suitable for individual brides.

The plants have that personalised touch and will provide everlasting memories of the wedding day. All the plant creations are made by hand and are wonderfully presented using quality materials. We have over 10 varieties of plants available with the most popular being the orange jasmine (murraya paniculata), gardenia and the romantic flower- lavender. Also becoming quite popular, especially with our European customers are the olive trees. Only the very best plants are selected from our growers with a great deal of care. Inspired by nature, these gifts that will last a lifetime!

What do you feel sets you apart as in Bomboniere Supplier?
With the growing awareness of climate change Flourish Bomboniere has become such a wonderful environment friendly green gift, there is really nothing else like this available.

These are attractively presented with the latest trend being hessian wrapping which has that natural feel with the more earthy ribbon tones such as chocolate brown and olive green. Some customers are even doubling up the labels as place cards! Beautiful messages that read "All things grow with love" or "Love grows". Of course, messages can be customised to suit each wedding or reflect the couple’s thoughts.

Couples are not limited to just one plant variety; if they wish, they can have a selection of 2, 3 or 4 varieties. These living bombonieres are very affordable, but if the couple are on a budget , we have various options available that include organza bags with sugar almonds, chocolates, mints or lollies which can save them money.

Flourish Bomboniere are a beautiful memory of the wedding day. Guests will call months after the wedding talking about their plants and how much they have grown and express their appreciation for something truly unique and meaningful.

What do you love most about your job?
I have been in the wedding/events and hospitality industry for 15 years, I love working with people and helping to make their day special. I get so much satisfaction out of planning and preparing for events and seeing the final result! I have an energetic and happy nature that I share with my job!

If you had to describe yourself in one word, what would it be?
Energetic!

Wedding Professionals Unveiled: Faye Cahill Cake Design

The wedding cake provides you with a great opportunity to have the entire feeling of the wedding expressed in one single detail. So many elements of the cake come together to really display the personality of the bride and groom... the colour, the design, the flavour and the shape. Today, we have an interview with one of Sydney’s premiere cake designers, Faye Cahill from Faye Cahill Cake Design. Take a moment to read about this imaginative and talented cake Studio who not only produces refined and beautiful wedding cakes with a designer edge, but that are also extremely delicious!!.

Name: Faye Cahill Cake Design

Website: www.fayecahill.com.au

Facebook: Faye Cahill Facebook

Where are you located, and what geographical area(s) do you service?
Our shop/studio is at Dulwich Hill in Sydney’s Inner West. We deliver throughout Sydney. We also have many clients who transport their cakes to Bowral, the Hunter Valley and the South Coast. We also freight cakes quite often to regional and interstate airports.

How long have you been in business?
3 1/2 years under this name and 18 years in the industry.

What drew you to Cake Design as a profession?
I worked in cake shops while studying for my art degree and fell into baking shortly afterwards which led to my career as a decorator. I was very fortunate to find work at one of the most prestigious Sydney companies early on, and developed an eye for quality, detail and design.

What do you feel sets you apart as a Cake Designer?
My extensive experience making literally thousands of wedding cakes, has taught me what works and what doesn't. Proportion, balance and harmony are crucial in achieving the most refined results, and clients can feel confident that if we tailor a design to suit their scheme that it will turn out exactly as we have discussed. We also take a lot of care in the preparation of our cakes to ensure that they taste as good as they look. All your cakes are filled and layered with creamy ganache and masked to prevent drying and produce a perfect silhouette. Another of our strengths is that we hand make all our flowers and decorations rather than using the standard imported ones. The results are much finer and we can customise to a greater degree with styles and colouring.

What do you love most about your job?
Nothing beats seeing all the beautiful cakes come together at the end of the week, and also hearing back from couples who were thrilled with their cakes. We are lucky to be working with clients who are planning a happy and special event, and who often bring beautiful elements from their scheme to show us. We find that we are continually working with new themes and designs which keeps our work engaging.

If you had to describe yourself in one word, what would it be?
Edgy

Wedding Professionals Unveiled: Makeup Artistry By Rebekah

I am pleased to announce a new feature on this blog called Wedding Professionals Unveiled. I thought my blog readers would enjoy getting to know more about the many wonderful wedding professionals out there, so I will be periodically posting brief interviews with various wedding professionals.

My first featured wedding professional is Rebekah Foxe from Makeup Artistry By Rebekah. Nothing is better than feeling completely beautiful and it is never more important to have that wonderful feeling than on your wedding day. I truly believe that the sign of an excellent makeup artist is one who will enhance the natural and internal beauty of the bride - Rebekah Foxe is a professional freelance mobile Makeup Artist, specialising in bridal, formal, glamour and photographic makeup that certainly meets this criteria.

Name: Makeup Artistry By Rebekah

Website: www.makeupbyrebekah.com.au

Blog: makeupbyrebekah.com.au/blog/

Where are you located, and what geographical area(s) do you service?
I am located in Sydney and service the Sydney Metro and Greater Sydney Area including but not limited to Northern Beaches, North Sydney, Hills District, Inner West, Blacktown, Penrith, Campbelltown, Liverpool, Parramatta, Wollongong, Sutherland Shire.

How long have you been in business?
I have been in business for about 6 years.

What drew you to Makeup Artistry as a a profession?
I have always had a love and passion for makeup and did a makeup course back in 2000, "just for fun". I was studying law at university and Makeup was something that was an escape from the mundane tutorials and boring lectures. In 2003 I was asked to do makeup for a friend's wedding and everyone commented on what a wonderful job I did. My friend encouraged me to start my own business - so I took the plunge and undertook more study in Makeup Artistry, as well as purchasing the start of my 'kit'. I always knew in my heart makeup was what I would end up doing. It was my passion.

For a few years I juggled two jobs - I was working full time as a lawyer as well as seeing makeup clients on weekends. It was tough, but I loved it. Now I have put my legal career on hold while I have a family, and am able to wholly concentrate on my makeup clientele. I now have a thriving business with wonderful clients and I am so thankful to work in something I love, that doesn't interfere with my job as a mum.

What do you feel sets you apart as a Makeup Artist?
I really do think I have the ability to highlight the beautiful features in my clients. I love what I do and am always willing to make an extra effort for my clients and to accommodate their every needs - no job is ever too big. I am often hailed as being friendly and laid back, which I think is important in a makeup artist - especially when you're dealing with highly emotional and anxious clients who only want the best for the biggest day of their life. I think what also sets me apart is the quality of products that I use. I only use professional photographic makeup which really does last all day (just read the testimonials on my website to verify this!).

What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing the look on my client's face when they see how glamorous and beautiful they really are.

If you had to describe yourself in one word, what would it be?
Passionate
