Stay With You is a beautiful song from John Legend's 2004 Get Lifted album that declares ones love no matter what happens. Great for use during the ceremony, first dance or as a proposal song. There is also a live piano only version of this song, which many consider to have much more feeling.

Marry Me is a beautiful song by Train that really captures that insatiable passion that you get when you're in love with someone, the way you can never get close enough and that no amount of time will really ever give you enough of that person. It comes from Train's fifth album "Save Me In San Francisco" and was written by lead singer, Pat Monahan.
This song would be great for ceremony processional, cutting of the cake or first dance. There are two versions of the song - one is just acoustic guitar and piano (very beautiful and emotive) and the other also has bass, drums and strings (which is a little more pop and upbeat). Both versions have been provided.

What a wonderful day it was for Jasmine and Nick.....this beautiful couple had the most sensational weather for their wedding day. From the first time I met Jasmine and Nick it was obvious that they were absolutely perfect for each other, generous and tender people....and soooo very much in love. Nick is a soldier and until just before Christmas was in Afghanistan as part of Australia's defence efforts there. This has meant that they have both had to endure periods of separation, but I feel that this has only served to make their love so much stronger....it made my heart smile to watch the moments of gentle tenderness and displays of affection they shared with each other throughout the reception.
The Chinese Gardens in Darling Harbour was the setting for their beautiful ceremony followed by a lovely reception at Hyde Park Barracks Cafe. The 55 guests, including family and friends that had traveled from Melbourne, Canberra and Queensland, were treated like royalty as they celebrated this joyous union. Commencing with pre-dinner drinks and canapes in the Barracks courtyard, Jasmine and Nick took the opportunity to relax and mingle with their guests.
As the reception commenced there were great speeches from Jasmine's dad, Ricky then by Nick. A delicious meal was enjoyed by all before more great speeches from Nick's dad, Peter and Best Man, Mark. The cutting of the cake, a few special words from Jasmine's boss and time for what for me was the highlight of the night - the first dance. The first dance was so very special because of the tenderness, affection and emotions that eluded from Jasmine and Nick, you could feel the love in the room....absolutely beautiful!!!! The joy of being married, emotions and the intense feeling in the room took their toll causing Jasmine to shed a few tears of happiness.
Jasmine and Nick, thank you for allowing me to be a part of the celebration of your love - it was such a joy to get to know you. The two of you belong together - two soul mates who make each other very happy. May love and music fill your lives forever.
Jasmine & Nick were able to relax and enjoy some time mingling with their guests before the reception started.
I loved the the tenderness and affection that Jasmine and Nick shared throughout the celebration but especially during the first dance.....it made my heart smile.
As I have mentioned previously, each Sunday I look forward to reading the Wedding Section of the Sunday papers and each couples wedding day summary. I especially love being surprised by finding one of the couples that entrusted me with their day, being amongst those featured. Today not only was I excited to see Madeline & Robert's wedding as one of the featured couples in the Sunday Telegraph Weddings Section - they actually were the lead wedding feature!!
Reading the summary of their wedding and the proposal on the beach reminded me of when I first met Madeline and Robert. Robert told me how he had planned the proposal, how he went down on one knee, how whilst the proposal was occurring waves came crashing in, how Madeline recalled that everything felt surreal. It reminded me of their beautiful ceremony, the wonderful reception and how much everyone had enjoyed the entire wedding day. I was delighted to recall the special moments of Madeline and Robert's fantastic wedding and being able to enjoy them all over again. Isn't it great how a simple wedding photo in the Sunday Paper can bring back so much!!

Entertainment yesterday launched it's Facebook page that aims to help couples who are in the process of planning their wedding create a uniquely distinctive, elegant, fun and memorable wedding day. I also hope to connect with other wedding professionals who are as passionate about weddings as I am.
The Facebook page will provide the opportunity to exchange useful information to a wider audience in an interactive environment. It will also enable communication with customers in a less formal but more interactive way by the simple posting on the page Wall; customers will be able to help each other with their wedding problems, discuss other planning issues, provide feed back about the site, ask questions directly about services and learn more about how to make their wedding one of the best ever!
It was Christmas Day 2009 when Chris surprised Amanda with a beautiful engagement ring hidden in a necklace box under the Christmas tree and a proposal of marriage at their Central Coast home. They shared their fantastic news and excitement with family at Christmas lunch. The organising began and 5 March 2011 was selected as the wedding day. Very early in their relationship Amanda and Chris were bush walking in the Blue Mountains and they admired from afar "a lovely white house on the hill". Years later, they discovered that this house was also a function venue, so when it came time to organise the wedding, deciding on Yester Grange in Wentworth Falls as their venue for the reception was relatively easy.
So with the wedding day finally here, mother nature was a little confused and not quite sure what to present to Amanda and Chris. It was a strange old day with intermittent light drizzling rain, a misty valley and the occasional glimpse of sunshine, creating a very unique backdrop for their special day.
The ceremony was held in a little church in the historic village of Hartley, approximately 50kms away. Following the ceremony, Amanda, Chris and the wedding party made their way back to "the white house on the hill" for photographs on the grounds of Yester Grange.
A little time later, guests moved into the Ballroom to share in the wedding breakfast. A lovely, delicious three course meal was served and enjoyed by all.
After the meal, we proceeded with the speeches which commenced with Amanda's dad Jeff, followed by Best Man and Chris' twin brother, Matthew, then Chris himself and finally, Amanda. During this time, both Chris and Amanda became very emotional, conveying heartfelt messages of love. Beautiful words, two beautiful people, a very deep love for each other and the reason why everybody had come together to celebrate with them. Glancing around the Ballroom, there were many that were touched by this combination of words and open display of emotion. As can be seen in the photographs below, Chris even needed to grab a drink on a number of occasions in order to regain his composure. Definitely one of the highlights of the evening for me.

The speeches was followed by the cutting of the cake which and a wonderful photo opportunity for the guests - Amanda and Chris were clearly enjoying this moment.
It was now time for Amanda and Chris' first dance. To the sounds of Michael Buble's "Everything", they commenced their first dance as a married couple. The were then joined by the wedding party part way through.
Now that the ice had been broken, the guests did not hesitate to join them on the dance floor and it was party time!! For the next few hours there was not a moment when the dance floor was not full of guests having a wonderful time and....lots of FUN! (only need look at the photos below to see what I mean). The evening ended with a farewell dance which included each and everyone of their guests - another magical moment to end a truly magical day. I believe that their wedding dream came to fruition and they could not be happier - smiles were firmly on their faces until the moment that they left the reception.
Amanda and Chris it was a great pleasure, privilege and honour to be a part of your special day which was full of love and happiness - I know your marriage will bring a deeper love and more happiness into your lives. Thank you Amanda and Chris for entrusting me with your wedding celebration. Also thanks so much for the very lovely thank you conveyed in your speech Amanda - you have no idea how much your appreciation of my efforts means to me.!!! Have a wonderful and enjoyable honeymoon.
